…and this forum’s name was Shoo Flee.
I was linked to Shoo Flee by a member of a now-dead-as-disco MSN group called ‘Legacy Addicts’.
Legacy Addicts was cool, but I loved Shoo Flee more.
Aside from the fact I nearly got banned from it.
I had virtual, non-blood-related family there, I had fun, and this fun, virtual, non-blood-related family of all ages, shapes, and playing styles shared an almost-universal love of a pastry.
This pastry is Boston Creme Pie, although it is actually a cake with a white cream filling. It’s heaven on Earth, I swear…aside from the fact it can fall apart quite easily.
I loved it, as well, and when someone proposed a 9-Person Legacy to my fellow Shoo Fleeans, I was only too eager to participate, and it was my suggestion for the founder’s name that made the cut.
We wanted something original.
An inside joke of sorts.
I thought it might be lame…
…but I suggested Emerc Notsob.
‘Boston Creme’ backwards.
There were two more 9-Person Legacies after us, but I never liked them a speck as much as the one I was in.
I was given the task of raising Emerc Notsob’s children to adulthood, and so off I went, taking an estimate of two weeks to do so. HurriKaty took the reigns after me, chose Generation Three’s parents, and gave Generation Three to kitkat22sball…
…who was ultimately who this Legacy nearly died with.
On November 1st, 2006, the Shoo Flee forum closed, and in the two weeks preceding that date, I was the only person posting on the Notsobs’ thread. It seemed like no one else cared anymore.
I’d downloaded them earlier, just for fun. I had no idea I’d be continuing this Legacy from the beginning of Generation Four.
